Need: Big Round Frames

Recently, a friend showed me a video of The Kills doing their song Baby Says during an acoustic performance. I loved singer/songwriter Alison Mosshart's style before (check out this post from two years ago) but now I am royally obsessed with oversized round sunnies! This particular pot started to boil way back when I first saw those awesome two-tone Chanel glasses, but Alison has kicked the lid off of it with her metal mirrored pair (I'm pretty sure they're by Linda Farrow).

Finding the perfect pair for your face could be a bit tricky. Too small, too Lennon. Too big, and we're getting into 70's Elton territory. Not that either of those men had bad style, but anyway... Check out some of my finds and the video:

1. Karen Walker 2. urban outfitters' *sold-out pair  3. Linda Farrow + The Row 4. asos  5. topshop

Crystal Castles falling down

...falling down, falling down... almost. Last weekend my coworkers and I piled into a rented van and headed up to San Francisco to see Crystal Castles. I'm not a big drinker, and am often the driver, so the chauffeured trip there and back, plus a stop at In-N-Out on the way home, was certainly a treat! The show was really fun, pretty rowdy, it's strange to get soaked with alcohol at an electronica show, haha. At one point I was in the middle of a crowd who all started jumping up and down, heedless of the drinks in each hand. But the next day I was still reflecting on how I wished I could still be dancing...

Video Rodeo - B&G

Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce, and Beyonce featuring Gaga. How cute.

and now, for something kind of, sort of different...

I'm not a big fan of the Beyonce song. I've got to shamelessly plug Gaga for teaching me a lesson I just never got before: someone calling you and ruining your good time for their bullshit is controlling and not acceptable!
