One flew the cuckoo's nest

This sweater/dress deserves a little history recap, since it involves an unusually long saga. Three years ago I was living in Santa Barbara and fell for this bird-print confection in a Forever 21. Unable to spend the $34.50 (why was I even at the mall? I ask myself this a lot...) I tried to forget about it. Over a year late, I'm working at Crossroads in Santa Cruz, and the sweater gets sold in. Snap! Mine. For $6. Patience  is not only about virtue, but also a shopping strategy.

sweater - secondhand, via crossroads; jeans - wet seal; gold flats - crossroads

With this, I leave you in a few hours for Long Beach, and wish you all a merry weekend!!

  4. Ah, lucky lucky find! I'm always afraid that once I toss something or pass something over I'll never find it again when I decide that I really need it and then I end up buying unnecessary stuff all the time. I guess that's why im such a pack rat.
