Flower Day

The seqeue into Summer has really helped me be aware of how trees and flowering plants abound in Santa Cruz. The on-ramp near my house has a wonderful coating of flowering ice plant and California poppies, and it's hard to turn around, even downtown, and not be able to see trees. My favorite little street downtown is lined with overhanging elms and cute Victorian houses that all have roses or night-blooming jasmine in the front yard. I want to live in one of them!

Yesterday for ebew I wore my recently altered (as in I pulled out the annoying, unflattering elastic at the bottom) floral ruffled tank, floral wedges and coordinating jeans and cardigan. I am just adoring wearing bright colors in multiples. Even though the weather has been grey and cool, I feel cheerful!
