  1. I follow your blog via Google! I've been wanting a paper bag waist skirt for a while now...I'm imagining it with a black long sleeve tee tucked into the skirt, black tights, and my sailor-ish blue flats. Throw on a blue (white?) belt and some silver jewelry and call it a day!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. I follow via Google. I would love that as a pencil skirt. I would style it with a vintage tie collar shirt and a cropped red blazer with my favorite pair of (faux) snakeskin heals and a low slung red belt. Megan.r.schwark@gmail.com

  3. Hi! I found you on stumble upon about 2 months ago! I've always loved a blue skirt with 2 pockets. It'd be high waisted and mid-thigh long.
I would like to wear it with a red and white striped tank top and a pair of red ballerinas!
    Thank you for the giveaway!

  4. Cute fabric!
I follow through my Google Reader. I definitely think a pencil skirt would be super cute (plus I'm way too lazy to make one in stripes). High waisted with a think blue belt and red tights with my red sweater. Also an excuse to buy some blue ballet flats!

  12. I stumbled upon your blog and fell in love with the tutorial of the gathered skirt. I read whenever you have a new post and I thoroughly enjoy your daily outfits! I really like the pleated a-line skirt you made a while back, and would wear it just above the knee, with a pale colored top (I'm loving lavender or a dusty rose with leather sandals and a lightweight scarf.

  13. I follow you with google reader. Hard to decide between a pencil or pleated skirt... Hmmmm... Maybe a pleated skirt. I would wear it with a pretty white tank top, something feminine.

  14. Hey there, I follow via Google Reader.
I would choose the a-line skirt. I would probably wear it with a simple v-neck and some chunky vintage jewelery. I'd be excited to win, this would make my first skirt! And I absolutely adore stripes.

I would love a pencil skirt, in a fun pattern. I would wear it with a simple deep-vee t-shirt, tucked in, and a pair of classic black pointed-toe pumps.

    2. I would want an a-line or pencil skirt, knee or above the knee length

And I would wear it so many ways!

Option 1: white sleeveless oxford shirt, gladiator sandals and denim jacket/khaki blazer depending on the occasion

Option 2: white camisole with yellow grandpa sweater, white Ked's tennis shoes, and if I can find one like it that gorgeous picnic basket purse of yours

Option 3: my boyfriend's beige wool v-neck sweater, light brown platform mary janes, leather bomber jacket.

and I keep coming up with more!

  18. I follow the blog through Google, but I also follow your tweets. Which lets me know when to check in.

The fabric is lovely, I'd love a knee length pleated skirt with a row of buttons down the front from waist to hem (for show) or a thick, antique white lace band across the bottom. Maybe both, but it would depend on the buttons. I would love to wear it with a loose poets shirt, tucked in with a gorgous belt I have from Francescas. It has sections of ancient maps all over it, tied with rope. Just beautiful.

Or for something more simple, a white camisole and a bright yellow cardigan, top it off with a long necklace with a bright red strawberry on it.

  20. I follow you through Bloglines.... and I can't remember how I found you in the first place! But you are one of a very short list of blogs I check frequently, and I love your blog to little vintage bits.

I'm really up for any skirt if you want to experiment, but I have been secretly wanting a drop waist tiered mini. A roughly woven neutral or a airy floral fabric.

I'd probably pair it with a high bun, jean jacket, chunky crotchet infinity scarf, and midheel Mary Janes.... or ankle boots. Or high heels and legwarmers. Who knows? The sky's the limit.
