When in doubt, wear plaid again!
In this case, to another indoor workday and a lovely outdoor lunch hour consisting of pizza, soda, grass lounging and warm sunshine. I admit the woolen socks might have been overkill, but then again, I wasn't cold! Yep, that scarf matches the shirt. I just loved those colors together so much, I couldn't resist. I must have a dozen scarves in different colors; they're a cozy and easy way to add a little extra.
blouse / scarf - new york & co.
kimono cardigan - forever 21
vintage boots - crossroads
I made a skirt based on your simple skirt tutorial. It turned out great! (except for it being a litttleee bit too short) The only tweak I made was to use an elastic from an old pair of sweat shorts. Thanks for the helpful tutorial!
ReplyDeleteI actually like that the scarf matches. It's almost like a tie neck blouse.

jenna - I'm glad you liked the tutorial, and recycling some elastic makes it even better! I need to check my goodwill pile...
ReplyDeletemy heart blogged - yes! thank you for pointing out that it looks like a neck-tie blouse! I felt a little better. Calivintage happened to wear a white blouse of such design frequently this week, maybe that inspired me ;)
