Picture This

I've been meaning to do up a pretty, simple diy earring rack to store and display my h&m and thrifted baubles for many moons, and I finally got around to making it!

I found what I needed at the thrift store for just a few dollars: a picture frame with removable backing and a lace camisole from the lingerie section. I used a staple gun to attach the lace to the back of the frame. A glue gun would also work, as long as you let each side dry completely before moving on to the next.

The lace was very stretchy, which wasn't the best to work with. I couldn't find any vintage curtains or doilies this time, but those would be a perfect source of lace, especially for a larger frame. Or you could use fabric trim, cord or wire! Here's some image inspiration ♥

DIY Felt Coasters

Ya gotta love the affordability of felt—it's about forty cents for an 8.5 x 11" sheet. Using the basic stitches on your sewing machine, colorful thread, and perhaps a bit of chalk pencil to guide you, these squares can be made into cool coasters for cheap! I got the idea from this Martha Stewart article
