Winter's Shine

Oooh the weather! Note: you might not want to read further words if you're already embittered and reading this from a snow-cave. It's been an absolutely beautiful week, lengthening balmy days followed by nights that don't put the ice in your veins. Last year at this time we had more rain than ever before, so I wonder if this year we'll break the winter sunshine record. Yesterday the boy and I took a little trip down the coast to Big Sur for a hike and picnic. It was a beautiful day, and I have lots of photos to share, but phew am I sore! I was being put to shame on the trail by elderly couples and breathing like a lathered racehorse. I need to get in shape...

Enjoyed the weather outside with pesto pizza and sunshine in the park on my lunch break. I don't think I'm cut out for sheer tights. These ran from top to toe today. Both polka dot pairs have lasted me less than four wears each. I guess that's what you call a bad investment. Or a bad entightsment. Yeah that's right. I'm deliriously tired, and it seems funny.
