Fashion Therapy: The Sky And I

Yesterday I headed up the coast to San Gregorio to my friend Dorey's house, a beautiful old hotel in the
country surrounded by grass, gnarled trees, chickens, goats and kitties. Even a yurt! I stopped to try for
a photo by the coast, but of course it started drizzling and the gusty wind made it scary by the cliff's edge.
At least my color palette matched the weather. I had her snap another of my by this cool tepee in her yard.
We headed to her art showing in San Fran, which was very fun, as was trying Ethiopian food and beer for
the first time. Yum yum!

I just got a copy of Rebecca Wells latest Louisiana-based novel The Crowning Glory of Calla Lily
Ponder and can't wait to start it! I loved the Ya-Ya Sisterhood and have always wanted to go to "the
South" for some reason. Maybe it's the sultry nights, comfort food and good ole Southern charm.
